WWE Wrestling coming to Ottawa
What a welcome to town present this will be for me. The night before the pay-per-view Breaking Point, World Wrestling Entertainment will hold what is known as a “house show” in Ottawa at Scotiabank Place on Saturday, September 12.
Tickets for the show will go on sale June 20th at 10am. The non-televised show features Superstars (owner Vince McMahon hates it when you call them “wrestlers”) from Monday Night RAW, Friday Night Smackdown and ECW. The good news is that the tickets start at $15 a piece. (Ring-side seats will cost more.)
In case you haven’t figured it out, I’m a bit of a wrestling fan. I’ve been going to events for the last 23 years and have fond memories of my father taking me to see Hulk Hogan wrestle in Montreal at the Forum when I was a kid. I find house shows are much more wrestling focused than the weekly TV shows, and frankly, are more interesting.
You’ll be able to get your tickets to what WWE is calling “the best value in entertainment” at Capital Tickets or by calling 877-788-3267
